About us

A small shop that treats glass as a safety part

Sunrise AutoGlass runs out of Mechanicsville with a calibration bay, a stocked rack of windshields and two service vans on the road.

How we got here

Started in a van, kept the van

Sunrise began as one technician, one van and a phone number written on the back doors. Word travelled through Hanover and Richmond, mostly from drivers who liked that someone showed up when they said they would. We added a second van, then a shop with a calibration bay so we would not have to send customers somewhere else to finish the job.

The mobile side never went away, because a windshield in your driveway on a Tuesday morning beats a day off work.

What we hold to

Four things we will not cut

Certified hands

Apex certified technicians who follow the install procedure for the vehicle in front of them.

Real materials

Sika urethane, new mouldings and clips, primer on any bare metal. No reused trim.

Straight answers

If a chip can be repaired we say so. We would rather do a cheap job well than sell you glass you do not need.

Clean handover

Vacuumed interior, safe drive away time in writing, and the scan report when calibration is part of the job.

Windshields stored on racks inside the shop
The shop

Stocked rack, level bay, two vans

We keep the windshields we install most often on site, so a lot of jobs happen the same day you call. The bay floor is level and marked for calibration targets. Everything else lives in the vans, which is where most of our week is spent.
